Verbage

God, I hate Sarah Palin, not least because she just used the word “verbage.”

According to this website, there is no such word as “verbage.”

“Verbiage” is an insulting term usually meant to disparage needlessly wordy prose. Don’t use it to mean simply “wording.” There is no such word as “verbage.”

I could have told you that.

  1. yeah but … doesn’t it describe her to a ‘T’ — <>contentless speech<>, i.e. verbal garbage?PS I’m heading out right now to Bollyhood to meet Summi and check out the space for 11/1.

  2. Nada, if you mix verbage with nounage, add a tasteful dollop of adjectivage and adverbage, you get communication. writing is like communication, you know, so you should be sensitive to this. that Palin is into verbage means she has plenty of get up and go. that’s her verbage talking.
